David Cahn founded synygis in May 2003..

David is an accomplished researcher, equally at home in fmcg markets or running policy surveys for large corporates and the public sector.  He has a particular interest in setting up and running the large-scale longitudinal studies which many researchers eschew.

He has increasingly specialised in consulting on business, commercial and especially operational management issues. 

He is also currently responsible for collecting and analyzing research industry market trend information on behalf of MRS (The Market Research Society).

Prior to running synygis, David was Joint Vice Chairman of Research International (now part of TNS-RI).  His responsibilities included the establishment and development of a separately trading and entrepreneurial Operations offer throughout Europe, pioneering many radical methodologies, including outsourcing, that are now mainstream.
